Final Person Sentenced in Fargo Taco John’s Shooting, Robbery

The last person charged with robbing a Taco John’s in Fargo has been sentenced.
Tommy Trent, 29, of Fargo was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by three years supervised release.

Trent was one of five people convicted of robbing Taco John’s on 32nd Avenue South last September.

An employee was shot in the leg.

Prosecutors say Trent acted as a lookout and getaway driver.
