NDSU’s President Bresciani Cleared of Wrongdoing in Investigation

NDSU’s president did not violate Board of Higher Education policy.

That is the finding of an outside investigator who was hired to determine if Dean Bresciani violated policy over his handling of media guidelines for athletics.

Kathy Perkins, an attorney from Kansas, says in her report that Bresciani told the truth about his lack of prior knowledge of the guidelines.

The investigation was called for after he scrapped the media access plans put in place by the athletic director.

The AD’s plan was sharply criticized by journalists and others.
