Escaped Inmate Captured Near Jamestown State Hospital
An inmate accused of beating his girlfriend with a bat escaped from the State Hospital in Jamestown last night, but has since been captured.
Bryan Satterwhite, 20, escaped from a Grand Forks County Deputy around 4 o’clock while being transferred to the county.
A CodeRED alert was sent out to warn people that he escaped and was wearing handcuffs and belly chains.
Officers found Satterwhite in a slough about a mile from the hospital around 6:30 last night.
The Larimore man was in custody on aggravated assault charges.
