Minnesota BCA Investigating Shooting Threat Against Local Schools

A number of schools in northern Minnesota took action after the BCA learned that a threat had been made toward or against an unspecified school.

The BCA says an unknown individual made the threat to another person in an anonymous online chat.

Schools in Detroit Lakes, Ada and others made sure all doors were locked.

Officers provided extra patrols at schools in Hawley, Duluth and others.

It was business as usual at Moorhead schools.

The BCA is investigating, but says at this time there is nothing to substantiate a specific threat.
