Woman Arrested After Alleged Car Theft, Chase in Otter Tail County

A Wheatland, North Dakota woman is jailed on a long list of charges after a chase in Otter Tail County.

Jessica Jones, 31, led deputies on an 11 mile pursuit on Friday afternoon that began at a convenience store in Dent.

Jones ran over stop sticks near the entrance to Maplewood State Park, deflating the tires of the stolen car from Fargo.

She turned onto a gravel road, hit a tree and then ran from the car as it caught fire.

A passenger in the car was charged with having stolen property.
