Neighbor Injured Trying to Stop Assault at Brookwood Trailer Court

A man who tried to stop an assault on a woman was hit in the head with a tire iron.

Police arrested 29-year-old Alex Foglio in the Brookwood Trailer Court.

They say Foglio and another man and woman showed up at an apartment in the 400 block of 7th Avenue East in West Fargo and assaulted a woman around 4:30 a.m.

A neighbor heard the commotion and was trying to intervene when he was hit with the tire iron.

He refused medical treatment.

Police say those involved in the fight were “known associates”.
