St. Paul First Grader Brings Gun to School; Gun Discharges in Classroom
A first-grader brings a gun to school and it goes off, but no one was hurt.
St. Paul police say the gun was brought into a classroom at Crossroads Elementary by a 7-year-old student.
The weapon discharged into the floor at 8:40 a.m.
Authorities are investigating how the first-grader got the gun and what led to it going off.
The district said such actions have “serious consequences,” and it will follow its standard discipline procedures.
