Skate City Event: Hot Dog Skate

Hundreds of people took a break from Black Friday shopping madness and celebrated the annual “Hot Dog Skate” at Skate City.

Skaters received a free hot dog and drink with admission while celebrating Black Friday.

The event lasted all day from 10am to 6pm.

Skate City also holds a Hot Dog Skate on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

“We wanted to give the opportunity if families are in town, they can have something to do,” said Tony Heer, who owns Skate City. “You know, when everything else might be closed or you’ve got all the hectic-ness that’s going on at the mall and everything.”

Traditional Skate Rental is just $1.50 and inlines are $3.00.
