Number of Moorhead City Manager Candidates Narrowed Down

The list of 51 applicants for Moorhead City Manager has been trimmed to four candidates.

They include two city administrators in Minnesota, Larry Kruse in Willmar and Aaron Parrish in Forest Lake.

Kruse was the former administrator of Thief River Falls and Parrish served in that role in Crookston.

The other two candidates are from out of state:  Christina Volkers is with the San Bernardino, California Superior Court and Shawn Henessee is the Marinette County, Wisconsin administrator.

Former manager Mike Redlinger resigned in April after a closed door meeting with the city council.

He was hired as Fargo’s Assistant City Administrator in June.

The Moorhead City Council has set aside two days for candidate interviews next month.
