School District Fires Bus Driver Who Abandoned Moorhead Students

A bus driver for the Moorhead School District has been fired.

The driver kicked about 20 kids off of the bus in the industrial park last week after an altercation.

Some students told school administrators that the driver used racial slurs during a dispute with two or three students.

Another bus was sent to pick up the students, but most had already left on their own.

Police say they don’t expect charges against anyone.

The driver had been with Red River Trails for about two months.
