Frazee Man Arrested in Lobby of Becker County Human Services Building

A Frazee, Minnesota man was arrested Wednesday after he was found in the lobby of Becker County Human Services in Detroit Lakes sharpening a knife.

Deputies were called to the offices on a report of an agitated man with a knife.

Donald Merrill, 45, was taken into custody.

Officers found Merrill had several knives and drugs on him.

Authorities say there was no direct threat made involving the knife.
