Fargo Park District’s United Way Fundraiser a Hair Loss Success!
Fargo Park District reached its United Way fundraising goal and that means former director Roger Gress is losing his hair.
Gress agreed to cut his ponytail off if they reached their campaign goal of $6,000.
The Park District was successful and even received an extra $1,000 from CI Sport in Fargo, bringing the total to $7,200 for the United Way of Cass Clay.
“It may be a little bit goofy on my way out but it just kind of reminds me about the Fargo Park District and all of the things we do for people and what we’re willing to do to have a laugh or to have a good time or to help someone,” said Gress.
Gress was with the Park District for 37 years.
