Lakeville Man Makes Plea in Cass County Homicide Investigation
Timothy Barr says he "accidentally" ran over the victim with his car
The Lakeville man accused of killing a woman in Cass County in August has pleaded not guilty.
Timothy Barr was in Cass County District Court and entered not guilty pleas to manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
The body of Michele Newell of Vadnais Heights was found in rural Cass County in December.
She had not been seen since August.
A criminal complaint says Barr accidentally ran over Newell with his car and allegedly dumped her body in a farm building.
Barr will be back in court in March for a felony dispositional conference.
