Oakes Woman Injured in Crash in LaMoure County

LAMOURE COUNTY, N.D. — An Oakes, North Dakota woman is in a Fargo hospital after a man failed to yield in LaMoure County.
The crash happened around 10 Monday morning at the intersection of Highways 1 and 27.
The highway patrol says 37-year-old Ty Kirby of Edmore, Michigan failed to yield at the intersection and crashed into a vehicle being driven by 76-year-old Mary Miller of Oakes.
She was first taken to Valley City then to Fargo with significant injuries.
Kirby suffered minor injuries.
