Moorhead Volleyball Sweeps Brainerd, Advances in Section Playoffs

Spuds advance to play Sauk Rapids in Section Semifinals.

MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Moorhead Spuds volleyball team advanced in the section 8AAA playoffs defeating Brainerd 3-0 in straight sets.

Kortney Carney had 27 assists for the Spuds in the win. Brook Carney has 7 kills for Moorhead. The Spuds advance to play Sauk Rapids on Tuesday.
