Man Hurt After His ATV Was Hit By An SUV Dies

The Crash In Douglas County Remains Under Investigation

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Minn. — A man hurt when his ATV was hit by an SUV has passed away.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was informed that Derek Biggar died Tuesday as a result of his injuries.

The 36-year-old man from Carlos, Minnesota was hit while riding his ATV on Monday afternoon on Country Road 21.

He was found lying in the ditch and unresponsive when emergency crews arrived.

The driver of the SUV, Gregory Henderson of Alexandria, was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
