Fargo Man Accused of Sending Death Threats to Heitkamp Learns His Fate

FARGO, ND — The Fargo man accused of sending death threat emails to Senator Heidi Heitkamp has been found guilty.

56–year–old Kevin Olson has been found guilty of threatening interstate communications.

Prosecutors say Olson sent an email to Senator Heitkamp on December 22, 2016 saying, in part, “I should find you and shoot you in your red head.”

Court records indicate it is only one of several emails Olson sent to the senator.

Olson will be sentenced at a later date.
