Innovation Challenge Sparks Creativity at NDSU

FARGO, N.D. — The annual innovation challenge is back at North Dakota State University.
The innovation challenge highlights students and their ideas to solve a problem through weeks of brainstorming, creating, and implementing those ideas.
Some projects presented involve eco-friendly clothing, 3D printed prosthetics, and wind turbines.
The showcase is an opportunity to for students to demonstrate their ideas and concepts and pitch them to potential investors.
“The ndsu research park really wants people to understand the importance of encouraging students and developing the workforce, so they have a chance to succeed and move forward because we’re investing in students, which are going to be the future,” says Emily Schubert, communication and program director for NDSU Research Park. “They’re what are going to carry our community forward.”
The semifinals will beheld Thursday February 28th from 8 am to 5 pm at Research Circle North in Fargo.
