Fargo Running Company Offers Race Preparation Advice for Runners
The store advises runners to not make any major changes with less than a week left of preparation
FARGO, N.D.– Fargo Running Company is telling runners to keep active during the final stages of Fargo Marathon preparation.
Fargo Running Company advises runners to not make any major changes to diet or training routine with less than a week left of preparation.
The store’s owner says to trust your training and recommends first-time marathoners to go into it with an open mind.
“You’ve been used to doing something daily or doing some sort of training cycle so you want to be doing something,” Fargo Running Company owner Cley Twigg said. “You know, you don’t want to be sitting on your couch the whole week or sitting at work and not moving at all because your body has been adjusting and getting used to doing at least some sort of activity.”
Lineup starts on Saturday morning at 6 for the full and half marathon, 10K, and relay races.
