Three Day COVID-19 Testing Event Starts at Moorhead Armory

Moorhead tries to get ahead of the recent spike in Minnesota COVID cases and holds free test for the public.

MOORHEAD, Minn. – Three days of free COVID-19 testing is underway at the Moorhead Armory.

Health officials want to get more people in the area tested for the virus.

By noon Tuesday, they had already had 80 people stop by to get tested.

Minnesota Department of Public Health is hoping they can test more young people before they get the chance to spread the virus.

Some of our young folks are not wearing masks, they’re gathering together and we just need to remind people how important it is to wear that mask and not to be at large groups or events,” Clay County Public Health Nurse Cheryl Sapp said.
