FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – He did it, thanks to you. KVRR morning anchor Adam Ladwig has reached his goal in his Real Men Wear Pink campaign.

He has been wearing pink every day this Breast Cancer Awareness Month raising money for the American Cancer Society.
He reached his $2,500 goal Monday morning.
Adam has been celebrating every $500 milestone with silly stunts, like getting cupcakes smashed in his face or pink lemonade dumped on him.
He says he wasn’t sure he’d reach his goal, but he did thanks to generous community support.

Adam adds, “I am blown away by all the support from everyone who’s donated so far in October. The stories I’ve heard about people honoring their loved ones died from breast cancer, or people whose loved ones survived and beat breast cancer and are donating in their honor, it’s just so amazing to see that, to hear that. And I can’t wait to see how the rest of the month shakes out.”

He’s got more celebrations planned this week for reaching fundraising goals. Tune into the morning show to see those. He’ll keep raising money throughout the month and coming up with new celebrations. You can click here to donate.
