Apartment Fire Above Sledster’s Food & Brew in Grand Forks Impacts Business

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — People in Grand Forks are forced from their homes after a fire in the apartments above Sledster’s Food and Brew.

It happened Saturday morning around 11.

Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from the top floor of the building and located the fire in one of the apartments on the third floor.

The apartment and hallway suffered significant fire damage.

There was smoke damage throughout the upper floors.

The Red Cross is helping two renters of the building who were displaced by the fire.

Sledster’s Food & Brew was also impacted and remained closed through the weekend.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
