Fargo-Moorhead Comic-Con Features High-Profile Guest

ROY THOMAS HIGHLIGHTS GUESTS AT FM COMIC-CON.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)–This weekend comic fanatics filled the Ramada in Fargo for the annual Comic-Con. The event ran Saturday and Sunday and had a lot for fans to enjoy.

The event held vendors selling all sorts of comics and collector items and had high-profile guests including former writer and Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, Roy Thomas.

Comic-Con is an annual event held in the Fargo-Moorhead area where fans have come to expect what will take place. Chairman Tony Tilton says the highlight of this year was of course the appearance of Roy Thomas, and says they are continuing to grow and expand.

“[The highlights was definitely] meeting Roy Thomas and hearing him because he’s got like 80 years of experience and he is a guy who created all these characters,” said Tilton. “Comic-Con, well, we will keep growing. We have always kept it as a lower-key show compared to what we do for Valley-Con in the Fall. We are starting to build it up a little bit. So, you will see it start to expand a little bit for this next year.”

With Comic-Con ending Sunday, fans can now start looking forward to the Pop-Expo in April and Valley-Con in October.
