LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Sakari

Sakari is stronger than she looks, in more ways than one.

She came in to the 4 Luv of Dog shelter scared, withdrawn, and not interested in being touched at all.

But within a short time frame, Sakari figured out the rescue workers were her friends, and her personality blossomed into a dog who loves to be cuddled, played with, and petted.

She’s very bright and picks up on new skills quickly, especially if there’s string cheese involved.

Sakari is shy still around new men, and she made it clear to some of the men here at the Morning Show they’d need to win her over.

However, once they showed her some patience (and string cheese),  she caught right on that they’re her new friends too.

She’s about two years old and appears to be a German Shepherd cross, so if you adopt her you’ll have many wonderful years with your canine companion.

She loves the outdoors and has plenty of energy to play and have adventures with you.
