LIVE: Meet the German Shepherd Puppy

FARGO — We’ve been to Pride and Joy Rescue several times before for Pet Connection, meeting their beautiful adoptable horses, donkeys and goats.

But this time, we’re featuring a much smaller adoptable animal.

In fact, he might be one of the smallest creatures who lives there at the facility north of Fargo.

At seven weeks old, this tiny puppy is so young he doesn’t even have a name yet.

He came in with a number of other little pups from one of North Dakota’s tribal reservations, according to rescue founder Connie Faulkner.

The rescue had the puppies DNA tested, and they came back as a mix of German Shepherd, husky, and boxer.

This particular puppy has a laid-back, happy personality, and Faulkner says he shares that with the other pups.

They spend time doing regular puppy stuff like hanging out in the house, learning potty training and sit and other good-dog manners, and looking for ways to entertain themselves when they’re not napping or learning.

If you’re looking for a young dog with a sweet disposition and cuddles to spare, check out the rescue’s website for more info.
