LIVE: Sock It to Homelessness

FARGO — The organizers of Golden Drive for Homeless Kids is asking you to help them sock it to homelessness in the region.

They’re launching their sock drive at the start of September.

When we think of helping homeless children, food and school supplies usually come to mind.

But the weather in the region is changing soon, and children need warmer clothes for fall.

They also need underwear, hygiene items, and other overlooked essentials.

Golden Drive founder Sue Baron joined the Morning Show for a live interview about why it’s important for homeless students to be as comfortable as possible so they can concentrate on learning in this time of upheaval in their families, about the distribution plans for donations, and where you can drop things off to help the children.
