Pet Connection: Meet Louie

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — This week’s Pet Connection pet appears on the Morning Show via video from the Humane Society of Lakes, on Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes, with the help of shelter worker Jaycee Voigt.

Lewy is a black lab crossed with shepherd who’s about two years old, and as you’ll see in the video, he’s very playful and really enjoys attention from Voigt.

He loves to go for walks and gets along well with other dogs at the shelter.

Believe it or not, Voigt says, despite what you see in the video, he’s actually a little shy at first with new people, especially with men, but warms up soon enough and does very well with humans in general.
