LIVE: Anime Fargo — The Return

FARGO –They’re the cosplaying, comic-collecting crowd that puts on one of the region’s most popular annual conventions.

And this weekend, Anime Fargo is back bigger and better than ever.

Event organizers are bringing in some brand-new guest speakers who star in some of your favorite anime shows and films.

New for this year is also an entire area dedicated to kids.

Themed with “My Friend Totoro” from Studio Ghibli, organizers say the kids-theme room is something you’ll find only at Fargo’s convention.

There are also martial arts performances by the Agassiz dojo, Japanese crafts and drum-playing, artists, vendors, games, and more ways to connect with other anime fans from throughout the region.

The convention opens Friday and runs through Sunday, and kids six and under get in free.
