LIVE: Haunted Downtown Fargo Tours
FARGO — Are you haunted by the fact we’ve only got thirty days until Halloween?
If you’re ready to get spooky season started right now, then Haunted Downtown Fargo tours has you covered.
They launched this past weekend, and some of the spots are already sold out.
That’s why tour organizers William Balsley and Deanna Dahlstad have added four additional tours this season to the already-popular event.
Tourists gather for a guided, narrated walk through some of downtown’s supposedly haunted sites.
One of them, the Prescott building, is a former hotel that was also the site of the murder of a young rural Minnesota woman staying there, more than a hundred years ago.
The man who was ultimately convicted and served prison time for the crime was later discovered to be innocent and released after years spent wrongly behind bars.
Another building on the tour, the Ivers, was the site of a mortuary as well as a residential apartment building.
Balsley and Dahlstad joined the Morning Show for a live interview about the tour and what to expect (hint: it’s appropriate for ages 16 and up, so kids should stay home from this one.)
