“Paddle for Life” Pickleball Tournament Raises Money for Organ Donation
The tournament was hosted by Crosses for Cameron, an organization dedicated to supporting organ donation.

FARGO, N.D. – Pickleball players rallied at Courts Plus this weekend for a good cause, as Crosses for Cameron hosted the Paddle for Life Pickleball tournament.
The foundation came about after 22 year old Cameron Fisher died in a tragic automobile accident.
Cameron’s family says that his heart, liver, and kidneys have been donated – saving several lives.
That inspired them to start the foundation, and the pickleball tournament is an important component of fundraising – helping them in their mission of supporting organ donation.
“We work with both hospitals,” said Sarah Fisher, Cameron’s mom, referring to Altru and Sanford.
“They find people that need gas cards, that come from afar, and there’s a lot of appointments they need help with post-transplant, so they get those out there very well.”
