DFL Senate Leader says Minnesotans are worried, angered by Trump policies

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Minnesota’s DFL lawmakers are out on a tour of Greater Minnesota’s cities and they’re hearing a lot of feedback from constituents about the recent Trump administration actions and their worries about their effects on the future of the region.

DFL Senate leader Erin Murphy is on that tour, and she joined the Morning Show to talk about what she’s hearing from voters.

Among them are veteran worries about services taken away from the VA, farmers and their concerns over tariffs, and people in higher education and their fears more international students will be detained by immigrations officials.

She talked in depth about that, and about how to keep making progress in St. Paul with the evenly divided legislature in our interview.
