LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Arthur
FARGO — Sure, it’s not Pet Connection Thursday today, but we’re giving you an extra special bonus Pet Connection this week in honor of a very special little guest on the Morning Show.
His name is Arthur, and he comes to us from Kritter Krazy Rescue all the way out in Bottineau, North Dakota.
Kritter Krazy board member Cindy Holtan says he looks to be some sort of a terrier mix, probably about three years old.
The rescue got a call from a police officer telling them Arthur was in an emergency situation, and he was being held in some not-great and not especially safe conditions.
He seems to have been through quite a lot, and because of that it does take him some time to warm up to people.
He does better with women than men, and although he’s shy and hesitant at first, he’s already showing signs of relaxing around strangers much more so than he did upon intake.
Arthur likes other dogs and plays well with them. He also walks nicely on a leash and understands “sit,” so he’s off to a promising start.
He’s one of a lot of great animals they have at Kritter Krazy, and if you can’t bring him home, you can help out by supporting a flash sale fundraiser for the shelter at Fargo’s Bee’s Nest Tattoo and Art Studio. Part of the proceeds Friday, June 20th go back to Kritter Krazy for animal care.
