Two big Powerball winners in the region including $2 million ticket sold in South Dakota

Powerball keeps growing and now has the 10th largest jackpot in the game's history at $750 million

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — There were two big winners in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing in our region.

One ticket sold at Gas N More in Mobridge, South Dakota is a $2 million winner.

The winning ticket matched five of the six numbers, missing the Powerball.

The player doubled their prize by purchasing the Power Play add on for an additional dollar.

The gas station will receive a $25,000 retailer bonus for selling the ticket.

In Minnesota, a ticket sold at Miller Hill Super One in Duluth matched four out of six numbers for a $100,000 prize.

That lottery player also bought the Power Play option which doubled the $50,000 prize.

Powerball keeps growing and now has the 10th largest jackpot in the game’s history at $750 million.

The drawing tonight, the 37th since the jackpot was last won, could be anyone’s game.

If the winner chooses the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment plus 29 annual payments with 5% incremental increases each year.

Or they can pick a lump-sum payment estimated at $338.6 million before taxes.

There have been five Powerball jackpots over $1 billion.

The largest jackpot was $2.04 billion won by a single ticket in Altadena, California, on November 7, 2022.
