Helping those in need during the holidays

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – The holiday season can be stressful, especially for those already struggling to meet their basic needs.

Mohamed Osman with Essentia Community Health helps to connect people to the resources they need, from food and housing, to healthcare, to winter gear.

He says that the people that he works with are often surprised by the help that is out there for them.

“I even sometimes help fight an eviction. I helped a patient two weeks ago, she already had gotten an order to evict. But I was able to help her through Great Plains Fair Housing, and that eviction was, at the end of the day, recalled.” Osman said.
