Sons of Norway hosts 20th annual Norsk Christmas Event

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the holiday season is upon us, and it’s a great chance to check out some of the unique cultural celebrations in our community.

The Sons of Norway is hosting their 20th Annual Norwegian Christmas Dinner, highlighting classic Scandinavian fare from lefse, to krumkake, to brunost, and of course grogg.

With live music throughout the evening, they’re hoping to offer a taste of Norwegian traditions with a lively atmosphere.

“The area here has so much history with ancestors from Scandinavia – Norway, Sweden, Denmark, especially Norway – and all these foods bring back memories from when they were young, and just continue this tradition.”
