SWAT training exercises planned in two Fargo neighborhoods on March 5

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Another round of Red River Valley SWAT Team training is planned for Thursday.

It will take place in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue South from noon until 4 and in the 400 Block of 3rd Avenue North from 4 until 9 p.m.

Team members may be seen carrying firearms, but no live rounds will be used during the training exercise.

People in the area will hear loud noises and see several SWAT vehicles with activated emergency lights.

People who have concerns can contact Red River Regional Dispatch Center at 701.451.7660 and ask to speak with one of the training facilitators at the training site.
