Concordia students showcase their research and creative projects to the public

MOORHEAD (KVRR) — Concordia College Moorhead is celebrating the achievements of its student scholars.
The URSCA Symposium is an all-day, campus-wide event featuring original student research and creative projects across all majors.
The students get the chance to show off the work they’ve accomplished in science, data technology, as well as art, music and global studies.
Classes and practices are being cancelled for the day to focus on the students’ work.
The day also features awards, prizes and activities that celebrate student achievement.
“Sometimes hard work happens in labs, in studios, and out in the field, and not a lot of people get to see the outcomes of that work,” said Concordia Associate Professor Krys Strand. “And so this is an opportunity for them to really have a chance to share that.”
The event, also known as Celebration of Student Scholars, is in its seventeenth year.
