Registration for Farm in the Dell

MOORHEAD (KVRR) — Registration has now opened to receive a share of Farm in the Dell of the Red River Valley’s locally grown produce.

For over 10 years, the community supported agriculture program has been offered, giving a chance for people to receive freshly grown vegetables.

A box of vegetables can be given out for up to 12 weeks from the second week of July to the end of September.

There are several vegetables available in the program including lettuce, radishes, peas, potatoes, and pumpkins.

“Just a few individuals, in the very beginning, were a part of the CSA,” said Executive Director Matthew Larson. “And we’re hoping for over a hundred in CSA shareholders this summer. So there is a point we have to say, hey we can’t do anymore, but we want to be able to share as many of our produce with as many people in the community as we can.”
