FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — A major exit is now closed for a big road construction project in Fergus Falls.

The on and off ramps at the west Highway 210 and I-94 interchange, also known as Exit 54, are closed.

Traffic to and from Highway 210 is detoured to County Road 1-Tower Road or Exit 55.

From 8:30 p.m. until 7 a.m. this week, I-94 will close in both directions and traffic will be temporarily routed around the work area.

That is expected to last three nights.

Once the bridge demolition is complete, the ramps at the interchange will remain closed 24/7 through October.

MnDOT will replace the existing two bridges with a single structure.
