Cass County Sheriff’s Department releases annual report

Annual Report

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released the department’s Annual Report for 2025.

It shows the calls for service have decreased by nearly 2,000 since 2024.

Traffic citations and DUIs have also decreased year to year.

Crimes like theft, assault, and fraud have been staying consistent in the county.

Sheriff Jesse Jahner says fraud itself has been an ongoing issue for the last couple of years.

“We are looking at potentially trying to put something together for when people send that information to us, we can maybe put it out on the website, or some sort of social media platform that people can go to that and look at it and say, ‘Yep, I got that. I received that same thing and this is a scam,” said Jahner.
