Grafton woman has serious injuries after being hit by a semi while biking

GRAFTON, N.D. (KVRR) — A woman riding a bicycle is hit by a semi in Grafton and is now being treated at Altru in Grand Forks.

Highway Patrol says the incident happened just after 9 a.m.

The 66-year-old Grafton woman was attempting to cross Highway 17 within city limits when she was hit.

The patrol says she has serious injuries.

The driver of the semi is a 46-year-old man from Grafton.

The crash remains under investigation.
