Online fundraisers started to help Moorhead couples recover from house fire

MOORHEAD, Minn. – (KFGO-KVRR) – A longtime friend of a Moorhead couple who lost their home and all their belongings in a fire this week has launched a GoFundMe account on their behalf.
Noel and Tanya Anderson’s home caught fire Monday morning.
Joe Stadstad organized the fundraiser saying he’s watched the Anderson’s build a life centered around family, hard work and helping others.
Noel, who goes by “Scotch,” is part of the morning team on Froggy 99.9. He’s also an accomplished sketch-artist who had an extensive collection of musical instruments and memorabilia.
Josh and Amy Stalboerger lost the other part of the duplex along with their car and pretty much everything else.
Their fundraiser is here.
Crews were called to the 4500 block of 19th Street South around 11 a.m. Monday after neighbors reported seeing flames.
The fire caused extensive damage and both homes are uninhabitable.
The heat also damaged a neighboring house.
The cause is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
