From “Idol” to The Lights: Chris Tungseth to open for Brantley Gilbert next month

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fergus Falls own singing star, Chris Tungseth, has been named as the opener for Brantley Gilbert at The Lights in West Fargo.

Tungesth just came off of an impressive run on “American Idol”, making it into the Top 5.

He is a 27-year-old singer-songwriter and former construction worker.

“We are thrilled that we were able to secure Chris Tungseth as an opener for Brantley Gilbert”, said Lance Johnson of Ernest and Henning.

“Chris has brought the spotlight to our region with his success on American Idol, and we can’t wait to hear him play live from the stage at The Lights!”
