Traffic on I-29 in Fargo slowed as roadway buckles from the heat

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR 8PM UPDATE) –Traffic is still slowed on I-29 in Fargo from Main Avenue to before the I-94 underpass due to the roadway buckling from extreme temperatures.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says it’s affecting a number of lanes, north and south.

DOT crews have been on site working to fix the issues since the 6 o’clock hour.

Drivers are advised to follow directions from law enforcement on scene, slow down, and use caution while traveling through the area.
