Crookston Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder

A Crookston man who was charged with shooting at Polk County deputies last September, pleads guilty in a plea deal.

MichaelĀ  Perry faced 14 charges but ended up pleading guilty to 9, including two counts of attempted murder and assault.

Sentencing is set for late July.

Officers were called to Perry’s house on reports that he was drunk and firing guns.

He fired at deputies from a second floor window, hitting 2 of them in their bulletproof vests.
