Stand Up for Transportation Day

It’s Stand Up 4 Transportation Day and for the first time, the F-M community is celebrating it.

The mayors of Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and Dilworth gathered at NDSU and talked about the importance of public transportation.

The day is meant to promote awareness and knowledge of the importance of transportation as a vital link in our communities.

Mayor Mahoney used bike share to ride to the event.

Local sponsors of the event include MATBUS and Great Rides Bike Share.

City leaders are encouraging people to take a selfie of themselves near a mode of transportation and use the hashtag S-U-4-T-F-M.
