People are rushing to grab a Powerball ticket or two as tonight’s drawing.

The drawing is the fifth largest Powerball prize in US history.

Michael is a regular lotto ticket buyer believing one day his day will come.

Michael Leon says, “To win the big money…one day a winner. That’s what I keep coming back for. Keep trying.”

As for David, he’s a seasonal buyer only when the winnings are large.

David Barge says, “I only buy a lotto ticket when it’s a big amount like $500–million because there’s no way I could live off of $50–million.”

Both guys can say they’re playing with chance. Anything is possible but at the same time their chances are slim.

Leon says, “I suppose there’s one in a million chances of winning.” – More like one in 175 million.

Barge says, “I don’t have any plans of winning it. It’s just…I know one thing and that is I’m guaranteed not to win it if I don’t have one of these.”

$500–million is a lot of money and these tickets are going in bulk.

All Stop Manager Mike Argall says, “I think people in our community are very excited. They’re coming in and buying lotto tickets on their lunch breaks all day long. We’ve been selling numbers of them. We’ve actually sold one group of employees bought $110–dollars worth of them.”

One thing’s for sure, if this money is won it’ll be used for something good.

Leon adds, “I’d do a lot of charitable stuff too. Help with cancer patients. That’s what I’d do with it.”

Barge adds, “You have to help others with it. You can’t spent $500–million

The biggest Powerball jackpot was won in May 2013, when a Florida woman won $590 million.
