North Dakota Senators Meet Latest Supreme Court Nominee

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee continues to make the rounds on Capitol Hill.
Judge Amy Coney Barrett stopped by the offices of North Dakota Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer.
“And I do want to say at the offset that I think you’re an excellent candidate for the Supreme Court and I appreciate your record, your judicial record,” said Hoeven.
“It’s been a great treat to meet so many senators including you, Senator Hoeven,” said Barrett.
Hoeven says Barrett has shown a deep respect for the Constitution, as well as a strong commitment to upholding the law, rather than legislating from the bench.
Cramer calls Barrett an accomplished jurist.
He says the left continues its overly aggressive and inappropriate attacks on her, her faith, and family.
Democrats have formally called for a delay in her confirmation hearings until after the presidential inauguration.
