Sioux Falls Girl Battling Severe Medical Condition Has Died

A Sioux Falls girl who battled severe medical conditions since she was born, passed away early this morning. Rebekah Spader was ten years old.

We first introduced you to her this past winter when Rebekah’s older brother invited her to go to O’Gorman’s winter formal.

Rebekah was born with a hereditary disorder that attacked her nervous system. She was later diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, or pre–leukemia.

Rebekah was a student at St. Michael’s in Sioux Falls.
