FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Children 12 and older throughout the metro are one step closer to becoming fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
West Fargo Public Schools alongside Essentia Health are partnering up for a student vaccination clinic.
The vaccines are available inside the former Gorman’s building to anyone throughout the community who meets eligibility requirements. Children 12 and older must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to provide consent.
“That partnership with West Fargo Public Schools to try to get kids back to as normal activities as possible. Really our goal is to get as many of our adolescents immunized as soon as we can so we can start getting back to those summer traditions all the summer fun and then as we get into the school year looking forward to what that’s like,” Essentia Health’s Immunization Program Manager Kelsey Nefzger said.
The clinic takes walk-ins and also provides information about sports physicals, child exams and other immunizations kids may need.
